About the course

This course was due to launch in 2023, however, due to a nationwide rollout, the start date for this course has been pushed back to 2024. Please register your interest to be kept up to date. 

Turn your love of media into an exciting career with the T level in Media, Broadcast & Production. During this 2-year programme, you will learn the core knowledge and skills that are needed for entry to a range of media, broadcast and production occupations.  Equivalent to three A levels with a 45-day work placement, a T level will allow you to progress straight into the sector or continue your studies at a higher level. 

Who is this programme for?

This course is suitable for School Leavers wanting a career in the media, broadcast and production sector.

In addition to the core content, each student will also complete at least one module of occupation-specific content. 

The specialisms available in the Media, Broadcast and Production T Level are: 

  • Creative Media Technician 
  • Events and Venues Technician 
  • Content Creation and Production

Entry Requirements

What previous qualifications and experience will I need?

From School: 

  • Five GCSEs at grades 9-4 (to include English and maths GCSEs at 9-4) 

From College: 

  • Relevant level 2 qualification at merit grade or higher English and maths at level 4 or higher
