Complete your graphic design studies with our one-year top-up degree. This programme will enable you to ‘top-up’ your existing skills and qualifications into a full honors degree, if you have previously studied graphic design as an HND or foundation degree. This programme starts each January and is awarded by the University of Surrey. The programme provides the specialised skills needed for those who go on to work in such areas as graphic design, branding and advertising, web design and multimedia. At Farnborough, you will be involved with live industry briefs, design work placements and international design competitions. You will also be taught the latest Adobe Creative Suite software including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver and After Effects in up-to-date Apple Mac studios. The design studio is fitted out with large format printers, a 3D printing facility and computerised cutting facility. A degree in graphic design will hone your own design skills and encourage your own creative style that can help set you apart from other candidates when starting your new career. You will also be involved in an internal art exhibition where your designs will be displayed.
