About the course
This course is ideal for School Leavers who want to pursue a career in travel and tourism. It is equivalent to three A Levels and provides a route into university or higher education.
This is a course designed to give you a comprehensive background to travel and tourism. It will give you a broad practical experience and develop personal and business skills that are essential when working in the industry.
While studying this course, you will also get to take part in visits to local and national businesses, guest talks from industry professionals and international residential trips.
Who is this programme for?
This programme is for students who wish to pursue a career within the exciting the travel and tourism industry. Destination marketing, aviation, retail and business travel, tour operations and cruise are all popular areas of the industry which this course would prepare you for.
Trips
As part of the curriculum, we arrange domestic and international trips and visits. In previous years we have destinations such as Dubai UAE, Italy, and Germany.

How will I be assessed?

What previous qualifications and experience will I need?
From School
- Five GCSEs at grades 9-4
- To include English and maths GCSEs at 9-4
From College
- Relevant level 2 qualification at merit grade or higher
- English and/or maths at level 2 or higher
