I’ve enjoyed learning about different destinations and the business side of the industry. It’s not just travel-related topics like cabin crew, it’s also about the business and how all these different components come together. You also learn about customer services, different types of travel, transport and more.
We recently went to Farnborough Airport which really helped with the customer service unit and business travel, seeing how travel is different on private jets. We looked at a couple of hangars and went into the smoke compartment of a plane. We also went to Manchester and Liverpool to learn about domestic travel in the UK which linked to one of our units.
The teachers are really supportive – they’re there for you, not just for the course. I really like that the College focuses on getting you work-ready, with work experience and help writing your CV.
