Higher Education Joining Instructions

Congratulations on being accepted onto the first year of your chosen degree. We look forward to welcoming you to University Centre Farnborough and we are confident you will enjoy your time with us.

Induction

Induction for all new degree students will be late August, you can find the details for your course below. At induction, you will meet your course tutors and fellow students, enrol as a student at UCF and hear about the services available to support you in your time here.

Success at degree level is a combination of student work and college support. We have clear commitments and expectations which are set out in the Student Charter – you will be given a copy when you start your course.

This will be a half day event

Starting your Course

Accelerated Degrees (fast track) courses commence week beginning 4th September 2023*

*If you are studying an 3 year degree, Foundation Degree or HNC/D formal teaching will start the week beginning 11th Sept 2023. 

Please remember to bring

  • Confirmation letter from the Student Loan Company (if applicable)
  • Copies of Certificates
