Congratulations to Our Graduates!
Our annual ceremony for students graduating from Degrees and Higher Education and Professional and Part Time courses saw staff and students come together to celebrate student achievements.
Hannah Butler, 20, from Camberley, and Hannah Knox, 24, from Woking, have just finished their Foundation Degrees in Business, and will be continuing on to study their BA (Hons) Business degrees with us.
Over 250 students graduated at the ceremony held at G Live, Guildford. Surrounded by friends and family, graduating students donned their gowns and took to the stage to receive their certificates.
Students graduating included those obtaining their first full honours degree in courses ranging from Sport Science to English and Criminology, as well as those graduating from our Level 4 courses, Profession Qualifications, and Foundation Degrees.
Anusara Limbu, 31, from Sandhurst, has graduated from her BSc (Hons) degree in Criminology and Psychology. She is now studying towards her Masters in Psychology.
The graduation ceremony was presided over by Principal Virginia Barrett, and Pro-Chancellor of the University of Surrey, Dr Max Taylor. Dr Taylor, who represented the University of Surrey in the proceedings, handed graduates their certificates.
Principal, Virginia Barrett, said “This is a wonderful day for both staff and students, marking months and even years of hard work and dedication. I am incredibly proud to be able to share in the celebration of students’ achievements.
“I’d like to wish our graduates every success in the future – we have every confidence that they have developed the skills and knowledge to move into the next phase of their lives, and to succeed in their chosen careers.”
Graham Powell, 45, from Bordon, has completed his Association of Accounting Technicians qualification and is now studying towards a Chartered Institute of Management Accountants qualification.
