About the course
This hands-on and engaging course in Business will give you a deeper understanding of how businesses are set up, how they trade, and the different functions within them. Alongside theory, this course places a great deal of importance on developing employability skills such as knowing how to deliver excellent customer service, being comfortable and competent on making professional presentations and how to work positively and effectively in teams. These are essential qualities looked for by prospective employers. This two year course is equivalent to three A levels.

This programme is designed for students are interested in pursuing a career in the exciting world of Business or who would like to progress to an apprenticeship or university.
What will I study?
With a range of themes running through the two years of study, students will learn about subjects such as marketing in business, accounting, HR and Law.

How will I be assessed?
Assessment is mainly coursework with deadlines set across the academic year. Grades can be attained of Pass, Merit or Distinction in each unit depending on the level of achievement.

What previous qualifications and experience will I need?
From School
- Five GCSEs at grades 9-4
- To include English and maths GCSEs at 9-4
From College
- Relevant level 2 qualification at merit grade or higher
- English and/or maths at level 2 or higher
