I’ve been here for three years and it’s got better every year. The course is what I’ve always wanted to do - I like the cooking aspect of the course but also the theory as it's where you learn more in-depth about costings and rotas. I’ve been able to go to different competitions with the College and I’ve learned a lot. I entered into a competition for chicken butchery and won a gold medal.
The facilities for the course are great. There are three kitchens and the restaurant is amazing, especially when studying at Level 1 and Level 2 as you get to know the industry.
The teachers are great and they set you on the right track for later on in life. I first pictured myself working in a pub and now I’m working in a 5 star hotel in a two rosette restaurant.
