New Partnership Takes off with TAG Global Training

This July, TAG Global Training named Farnborough College of Technology as their first Educational Partner.

A plaque representing the partnership is now on display in our Hampshire Business School, home to our Business and Travel and Tourism courses. An unveiling ceremony took place with Training Manager, TAG Global Training, Debbie Elliot, Principal of the College, Virginia Barrett, Interim Head of Faculty, Anna Johnson and Programme Manager for Business and Travel & Tourism, Yvonne Gitendorfa.

TAG Global Training is a leading provider of Pilot and Cabin Crew training. Students on our Travel and Tourism course have received fantastic industry-insight from TAG Global Training during the academic year, including cabin crew training demonstrations on their trip to TAG Farnborough Airport in March.

Speaking at the plaque unveiling, Debbie Elliot, Training Manager, TAG Global Training, said: “I am pleased to award this plaque to Farnborough College of Technology in recognition of becoming a TAG Global Training Educational Partner. Alongside TAG Farnborough Airport’s ‘Aviation to Education’ initiative, TAG Global Training has worked closely with the College to engage with their Travel and Tourism students and highlight the career opportunities within Business Aviation.”

“With an increasing demand globally for jobs in the aviation sector, having the opportunity to engage with our future generation is vitally important to us, not only in supporting the community as an employer, but to help nurture and develop potential talent.”
